There’s no shortage of fun activities to do on July 4th. From neighborhood parades to backyard cookouts with friends and family, Independence Day gives us more fun options than there are hours in the day. For those of us who want to celebrate the holiday with a bang, there’s no bigger bang than a firework show that goes all-out. We’ve rounded up some of the most jaw-dropping displays across Central Florida that will blow you away.

Red Hot & Boom, Altamonte Springs

The City of Altamonte Springs and XL 106.7 are hosting yet another spectacular Independence Day celebration to honor the birthday of America! As one of the most well known fireworks celebrations in Central Florida, thousands bring their families to enjoy unforgettable performances, delicious food, and an amazing fireworks display.  Rain or shine, Red Hot & Boom is sure to wow again this year!

4th of July at Walt Disney World Resort

Ring in the holiday on July 3rd and 4th with magical fireworks displays and high energy dance parties! Watch as fireworks light up the sky over Cinderella's Castle all set to a musical score that surrounds you in the magic of Disney.  Independence Day dance parties will be held in Frontierland and Tomorrowland with DJ led music selections.

Boxi Park's 4th of July Party Weekend, Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park is celebrating Independence Day all weekend starting early! Come see us to begin the celebrations at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 4.  The weekend long party will feature a Zambelli Fireworks show on Saturday, July 6 at 9 p.m.  Festivities will last all weekend with BBQ cookouts, tastey food and drink specials, live music and tons of kids activities.  Hours vary by day so check the link for more details!


Fireworks at the Fountain, Lake Eola Park in Orlando

This event starts at 4pm at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. The official City of Orlando event also features live entertainment. Admission is free. Be sure to get there extra early! This is one of the most popular July 4th events in our area! Check the link for more information on parking and road closures for this event!

Star Spangled Sanford July 4th on the Riverwalk

Independence Day is packed with great traditions and no holiday transcends warm weather fun, great food and outdoor bands like July 4th. And then there are the fireworks! Come spend a day on the lakefront with family and friends, cool down at Ft. Mellon Park’s splash pad, visit the vendors for great food and trinkets, all while listening to live music from the stage in Ft. Mellon Park.

Light Up I-Drive Independence Day Celebration

Live entertaiment, delicious food and fun activities for the whole family will all be part of the July 4th Light Up I-Drive celebration on July 4th and 5th.  The Wheel will be suspended during the fireworks display but the fun will still be happening in the courtyard!

Winter Garden's Party in the Park

Come out and celebrate by participating in the All American Kids Parade starting at 10 am on July 4th!  Then, bring a blanket or chair to watch the fireworks at Party in the Park at Newton Park.  Festivities start at 6 pm and Fireworks begin at 9:15 pm.  Over the weekend, come out on Saturday, July 6th for an Independence Day Celebration at the Farmers Market with old fashioned family games on the lawn, cold watermelon slices, festive food and lots of red, white and blue and then later that evening there will be Red White & Blues on the Plaza at 6 pm.
